Joss Stone has reportedly bared it all for a new animal rights campaign that calls upon for the ban of black bear pelts worn by royal guards in the UK.The ‘You Had Me’ hitmaker has teamed up with PETA activists for the shoot in the hope that it will convince officials to get rid of the Canadian bear fur caps worn by the officers.
"The plight of wild bears hunted for their skins and for fun is a subject very close to her heart. She hates the fact that Canadian black bears are slaughtered for their skins to make The Queen’s Guards’ ceremonial caps so decided to peel off for the campaign," a source said.
Stone, a vegetarian from birth has also been voted as the “World’s Sexiest Vegetarian” by PETA in the past. "It was quite full-on. She’s laying on a Union Jack (flag) with nothing on. It sends a message to the Palace over the fur they use. They are beautiful pictures and she was very comfortable being without clothes," the source added.
The advertisements featuring the 23 year old singer will be launched later this year.
