Christina Hendricks too busty for designers

“Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks has revealed that she is still yet to find a designer who would loan her dresses.

The 35 years old, Hendricks, who walked the red carpet at the Emmy Awards on August 29, revealed that she still finds it difficult to borrow dresses from high-end designers.

“People have been saying some nice, wonderful things about me. Yet not one designer in town will loan me a dress,” said Hendricks.

“They only lend out a size 0 or 2. So I’m still struggling for someone to give me a darn dress,” she stated.

In the end, the size14 actress, who usually dons designs by L’Wren Scott and Christian Siriano, opted to wear a lavender Zac Posen gown to the star-studded event.

“This has always been my size. I’ve worked on other shows with this same size but ‘Mad Men’ celebrates it and that is nice,” she added.

Lindsay Lohan offered $1 mn to host radio show

Hollywood ctress Lindsay Lohan has been offered $1 million to host a show for a New York radio station with her mother Dina.

"We think that hosting a morning program would be the perfect gig for Lindsay," said a statement from JVC Broadcasting, the parent company of Party 105 as saying.

"If Lindsay wants to take some time off from Hollywood and spend some much-needed R&R with her family, but still needs to atone for her reported $600,000 in credit card debt, hosting Party 105`s morning show would be an ideal way for the starlet to reconnect with her fans."

The show would reportedly cover a range of topics from trendy fashion tips to entertainment news. There would also be an advice hotline for fans to call the mother and daughter team with questions.

A representative for JVC Broadcasting said financial documents and terms of agreement have been sent to Lindsay’s management team but it is not yet known she has accepted.

The "Mean Girls" actress was jailed last month for breaching her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI arrest.

Upon her release, after just 13 days, she was ordered to spend 90 days in rehab at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. But Lohan was discharged from the rehab Tuesday.

The judge presiding over Lindsay’s probation has asked her to stay in Los Angeles until Nov 1.

According to a recent poll, Hollywood actress Halle Berry is the hottest mum.

The Monster’s Ball star, who has a two-year-old daughter, Nahla, with former partner Gabriel Aubry, was named the sexiest mother in the spotlight by voters at AskMen.com.

Monica Bellucci, who gave birth to her second child in May (10), landed the second spot, while Kate Beckinsale, mum to 11-year-old Lily, came third.

Jessica Alba, the mother of Honor, two, with husband Cash Warren was named fourth sexiest women.

Salma Hayek rounded out the top five for her mum credentials to two-year-old Valentina.

Prachi Desai becomes face of tourist hot-spot Goa

Prachi Desai is yet to prove her acting finesse, but the actress sure knows how to connect with the masses. The lass, who is relatively new to Bollywood, has been chosen to promote Goa tourism thereby becoming the face of the holiday destination.

Already riding high on her the success of ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’, Desai’s latest feat has given her yet another reason to celebrate.

Talking about the Goa, Prachi said, "It’s an honour to be the face of the most popular tourist destination. I’ve been to Goa quite a few times and found out that there’s so much more to explore."

According to State Tourism Secretary MM Modassir said, "As we grow, we need to change strategies. While we are not diverting from promoting Goa as a family destination, we realise that almost 50% of India’s population is below the age of 25, and we are looking at targeting the affluent youth, who are a growing segment."

With Prachi promoting Goa, the state government is set to plunge into a campaign that will span mediums that include TV, press, online and retail activation. It also includes celebrity representation and will be directed at the domestic market.

Model-actress Kelly Brook wants to become a maneater like Samantha Jones from the ‘Sex and the City’.

The brunette beauty, who recently split from England rugby player Danny Cipriani after two years of dating, thinks she is more like the girlie Charlotte from the franchise, but is aiming to adopt a wild image and date lots of guys.

"Right now I’m all about having a good time. I recently went to the South of France with some girlfriends and we had a great time, it was just like ‘Sex and the City’. I’m Charlotte at the moment, but I’m aspiring to becoming Samantha," Brook said.

"I’m off to Ibiza soon. Is it going to be a messy trip? Well, if I turn into Samantha in time then you might see pictures of me falling out of the nightclubs," she added.

The 30-year-old model recently stripped off for Playboy magazine and admits she is now so comfortable with being unclothed that it "terrifies" her to wear clothes.

"I’m so used to it now that I’m more terrified of putting my clothes on. I haven’t got any huge body hang-ups. I’ve got to the age where I’ve accepted all flaws. I know I’m never going to be perfect," she said.

Liz Hurley shattered around the Mediterranean

It’s hard to believe that a Mediterranean holiday on a luxury yacht and soaking up the sun could ‘shatter’ someone, but that’s what it did to Liz Hurley, she claims.

On her Twitter micro-blogging page, the mother-of-one admitted she had been enjoying lots of afternoon naps and sunbathing as she holidayed on Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani’s yacht.

“Hot & tired. Going to bed. Hope I have sweet dreams. Actually, forget that-playing cards instead.

“Shattered. Off for an afternoon snooze,” said the actress.

Hurley, husband Arun Nayar and her son Damien are staying on the 152-foot long TM Blue One yacht along with Valentino’s partner Giancarlo Giammetti and the designer’s muse, Brazilian socialite Charlene Shorto de Ganay.

With the yacht docked in the Port of Ibiza, the 45-year-old joined Giammetti and Shorto for an afternoon stroll, accompanied by his dog.

They then met up with Nayar, who had been on dry land earlier in the day and returned to the lavish vessel together.

Kim Kardashian & sisters to launch clothing line

Reality TV stars Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian are planning to launch their own clothing line for women.

The sisters have signed a deal with designer Bruno Schiavi and his apparel firm Jupi Corporation to create the collection, which will include lingerie, handbags and accessories.

They said: "We are excited to work with Bruno Schiavi in developing our first brand together. His expert design sensibilities and amazing creativity, and his genuine understanding of female consumers everywhere make him the ideal partner."

The Kardashians’ as yet untitled line will debut in 2011.
