Jessica Simpson faces farting disaster

Hollywood star Jessica Simpson was publicly embarrassed when she accidentally farted during an important business meeting.

The 29 year old singer and actress, who had recently visited India to film some episodes with Bollywood beauty Neha Dhupia for reality show “The Price of Beauty”, passed wind as she was speaking to executives about her denim clothing line.

According to a source, “While one of the executives was speaking in a room full of five people, Jessica let out a very loud fart”.

The ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star was told off by her mother Tina who was terrified with her daughter’s act. "Her mother Tina Simpson was there, and it prompted her to turn around and yell, ‘Jessica!’ The tension was extreme. No one knew what to say," the source added.

This is not the first time Simpson farted in public as she once did it during an episode of her TV series ‘Newlyweds’.

Charlize Theron is teaming up with "Fight Club" filmmaker David Fincher to make the television crime drama series "Mind Hunter".

The two are developing John Douglas and Mark Olshaker’s book "Mind Hunter: Inside The FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit" into a hard-hitting US TV show.

Scott Buck, the executive producer of hit serial killer series "Dexter", will write the pilot episode for "Mind Hunter" and Theron will be the producer.

Hollywood actress Catherine Zeta Jones, Michael Douglas and their children are struggling to adapt to their new life in New York because they can’t walk around naked all the time.

The family have relocated from tropical Bermuda to New York while Zeta-Jones stars in Broadway show "A Little Night Music" and the British actress concedes she is having to adjust to a new way of life in the big city.

"In Bermuda, the children were like naked, opening the back door. So was I. Just running out into the garden. It’s really hard to do that in Central Park," she said.

Confirmed a source, “Vidya categorically told Gupta that she needs Sabya on board for her clothes. As she is accepted and appreciated for her Indian wear, she will once again be seen in similar costumes in this film. At best, the actress will wear denims paired with tunics and kurtis. Her role does not demand a Western look and thus she will stick to Indian wear.”

Penelope Cruz wanted to be a ballet dancer

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz has revealed that she had wanted to become a ballet dancer when she grew up.

35 year old Cruz, who won an Academy Award last year for her role in Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona, said that all she wanted to do was dance as she grew up and she spent 10 years training at the ballet bar.

From newly released pictures of hers, the actress could be seen striking one of her ballet poses as a young girl, and on the US news show 60 Minutes she said that she still cannot believe she won an Oscar.

“I still can’t believe that I won the Oscar last year because of the way I grew up”, said the actress.

“Just to dream about becoming an actress and making a living out of that sounded like science fiction in my environment.

“You know, I come from a family where we had just what we needed to survive. So to dream about this type of job was crazy,” she said.

But she did say that learning how to dance helped her land acting roles.

“If I hadn’t had the discipline of all those years in the dance world, it would have been much, much tougher,” she said.

“I mean, it goes too far sometimes. I mean, I used to take my toenails - they would die from dancing - so I would just take the whole toenail and throw it away, and not feel anything.

“But I loved it,” she added.

Mariah Carey insecure about her looks

Pop diva Mariah Carey says that she is insecure of her looks as she belongs to the mixed race.

The ‘Hero’ hitmaker, whose mother is Irish-American and father, an African-American of Venezuelan descent admits she felt ugly in school because of her heritage.

"I am very insecure about my looks, and I always have been because of being mixed race. It’s not so weird now, and everyone’s accepting it in a big way, but as a child I felt out of place and didn’t feel pretty. When you grow up with that type of insecurity you don’t always feel pretty," Carey said.

The 39 year old singer realised the significance of her mixed background when she took her white best friend on one of the weekly visits to see her father.

"She got out of the car and went up the stairs to his house and he was over 6ft tall and very handsome, but to her he must have really been scary because I don’t know that she’d ever seen a black man before. And she looked at him, her mouth went open and she started screaming and crying," Carey said.

"I think he was trying to make me feel better and calm her down, but it didn’t work. You never know what people say in their houses about different races. So my mother took her home and I went up the stairs with my father," she added.

Victoria Beckham to be guest stylist for American Idol

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is set for a second innings on the reality TV show, ‘American Idol’, this time as a guest stylist.

The pop star cum fashion designer had joined the judging panel on the hit show last year when Simon Cowell was forced to find temporary replacements after Paula Abdul quit.

Though Cowell too has quit the show now, Victoria has been asked by her good friend Simon Fuller, Idol’s creator, to contribute to the show as a stylist.

Meanwhile Cowell too is keen to sign the wife of footballer David Beckham as a full-time judge when he takes his popular ‘X-Factor’ show to the US in 2011.

The 22 year old blonde further spoke about her upcoming movie The Town co-starring Ben Affleck.

She added: "I have an intimate scene in this film and that’s never comfortable. You think, ‘Oh, this is going to be so awkward.’ But this scene isn’t supposed to be a steamy one - it’s sort of tragic. I’m pretty much crying in it."

Twilight star Ashley Greene has clearly decided it is time for her to show off her toned figure.

The actress, who plays Alice Cullen in the vampire saga, went for a photo shoot with just body paint covering her modesty.

Greene was looking fabulous after shooting the third movie in the vampire series, ‘Eclipse’.

"We had a lot of action and fight training so it had really toned up my body for these pictures”’ said Ashley.

The 22 year old shot to fame in the “Twilight” saga of films alongside Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

Madonna denies Romance with ex-hubby Sean Penn

Madonna has denied that she is rekindling her relationship with ex-husband Sean Penn.

The Queen of Pop has been spotted having dinner with the ‘Milk’ actor in New York City restaurant.

"Madonna was at the St. Regis having dinner with friends. Sean stopped by the table to say hello”, said her publicist Liz Rosenberg.

She added: “He sat for ten minutes and then left. Madonna continued with her dinner. That’s all it was."

Madonna and Penn had been married for four years before divorcing in 1989.

Paris Hilton to get married soon

Paris Hilton has given a clear hint that she sees a future with boyfriend Doug Reinhardt and the couple could soon tie the knot.

The hotel heiress, who has been dating the former ‘Hills’ star for over a year now, said that she thinks they have a "very bright and happy future".

"I wouldn’t rule out a wedding in 2010”, said the 28 year old Hilton.

Paris said that her baseball player beau has taught her "how real love can feel".

"Doug’s taught me how to grow up and become more domestic, as in not going out as much as I used to," she added.

While Doug (25), hasn’t yet presented Paris with an engagement ring, he did splash out on diamonds at Christmas.
