Miranda Kerr becomes face for Qantas airline

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr has been named the new ambassador of Australia-based airline Qantas. Kerr, who is married to actor Orlando Bloom, has joined the likes of John Travolta, racing driver Mark Webber and athlete Cathy Freeman as brand ambassador for the airline. Qantas bosses organized a party in Los Angeles to announce Kerr’s new role.

"She takes your breath away. She adds a whole other level of excitement and glamour to the airline," said Travolta, a trained pilot.

Kerr is upbeat about the new endorsement. "It is very exciting. Qantas is such an iconic Australian brand and to be an ambassador for them is such an honour. I always fly Qantas, so this role is really exciting, what a privilege," she said.

Olivia Munn poses for PETA

Olivia Munn has become the latest celebrity to bare all for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

In her first photo shoot, the 31-year-old actress poses au naturel next to a fluffy bunny for the animal activists’ latest ‘I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur’ billboard. Munn has also filmed a video exposing the Chinese fur industry.

“As a proud person of Chinese descent, it broke my heart to learn just how terribly animals suffer and die on Chinese fur farms and that there are no penalties for this abuse,” said the actress.

Munn is the latest in a long line of beauties who have stripped for PETA’s anti-fur campaign, including George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis and Taraji P. Henson.

Rishika Singh faces nude controversy

Much has been talked and written about Rishika Singh's poster, which shows her without clothes, where her body is being covered by dry mud. But little less we know that the actress has not gone nude rather it is made like the actress showing her body sans clothes for the forthcoming Kannada movie Yaaradre Nanagenu.

Dismayed by the unexpected development, Rishika Singh explains that the scene arrives when the baddies bury her alive in a desert. But her fight-back attitude makes her to come out from the grave. In the sequence, Rishika has worn a bodysuit in order to give an impression that she is naked in the scene.

The daughter of Rajendra Singh Babu shots back at the those, who criticised her for displaying her body, by saying that their comments are not valid because the curves or the outline of a woman's figure can be explained even when she is wrapped up in full saree. She further adds that they were mum when she sported a bikini in her last movie.

However, Rishika Singh concludes that she has done the scene to give a realistic touch and her family is fine with it. Yaaradre Nanagenu is directed by SK Basheed. The movie also stars sex bomb Mallika Sherawat, who made her debut in Kannada with Prem's Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melide, and Nisha Kothari of Raaj fame.
